Miscellaneous agents 

Miscellaneous agents includes all products not classified elsewhere.

Miscellaneous antibiotics are used to treat infections caused by susceptible bacteria or other susceptible organisms, usually when other more common agents are not effective or not tolerated. There is not a single antibiotic that will treat all infectious disease scenarios.

A breakfast bar, a DVD, and a credit card bill are miscellaneous items that may be in your backpack. The word miscellaneous comes from the Latin word miscere, meaning “to mix.” You might have heard the expression “a mixed bag,” which applies when you don’t quite know what you’re going to get.

Miscellaneous dangerous substances and articles are substances and articles which, during transport, present a danger not covered by the other classes of dangerous goods. It includes environmentally hazardous substances of Class 9, but also all other classes except for Class 7 radioactive material.

Miscellaneous medical facilities are entities such as imaging centers, ambulatory care centers, hospices, dialysis clinics, homecare facilities, medical spas, and a variety of other facilities offering specialized medical services.
